HueScene has no accounts and no user database. We don’t use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we don’t sell or share anything about you.

The rooms and colors you choose in the studio, and whether you prefer the light or dark theme, are saved in your browser’s local storage. That’s how your work is still there when you come back.

This information stays in your browser and is never sent to us. Clearing your browser’s site data removes it.

Your studio choices are written into the page address. When you share that link, anyone who opens it sees the same rooms and colors. We don’t keep a copy.

PDF exports are created in your own browser. We never receive the file.

HueScene is hosted by Netlify. Like any web host, Netlify processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, so it can deliver the site and keep it secure. You can read how Netlify handles that in Netlify’s privacy policy.

When you search for colors in the studio, your browser sends the search (a color, name or code, and the chosen provider) to our server, which sends back a few matching colors. The search isn’t linked to you and we don’t store it.

To keep the search available for everyone, Netlify limits how many searches can come from one IP address per minute. That check happens inside Netlify; we don’t keep IP addresses. Our own logs only count searches and how long they take.

Before the first search, the studio runs Cloudflare Turnstile, a check that tells people from automated scrapers, usually without you noticing. To do that, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address and browser details; you can read how in Cloudflare’s Turnstile privacy notice. Turnstile doesn’t set tracking cookies. Passing it gives your browser a short-lived pass for searching, kept only for this browser tab.

If we ever add analytics, advertising or accounts, we’ll update this page before switching them on and explain what is collected and why. The date at the top always shows when this page last changed.
