About HueScene

Choosing paint shouldn’t take nine sample pots.

Most of us choose paint the same way. A handful of chips from the shop, a few sample pots, patches all over one wall, and weeks of squinting at them in different light. It works in the end. It’s also slow, it adds up, and it’s very easy to talk yourself in circles.

HueScene is for the part before the sample pots. You pick a room, put real paint colors on it, and narrow things down while changing your mind is still free.

Paint is one of the easiest ways to change how a room feels. Picking it should be the fun part.

What you can do today

  • Try paint on the walls, ceilings and kitchen cabinets of photographed rooms.
  • Find colors from NCS, RAL, Jotun, Flügger and Nordsjö by name or code, or see a few close to one you already like.
  • Keep a few candidates for each surface and switch between them in a tap.
  • Share a link to your choices, or download them as a PDF for the paint shop.

What it can’t do (yet)

  • Show your own room. Uploading a photo isn’t possible yet.
  • Promise a perfect match. Screens and daylight differ, so always test a sample on your wall.
  • Speak for the paint brands or color standards. The colors are our own on-screen approximations, and HueScene isn’t affiliated with any of them.

Where the colors come from

The paint brands and color standards in the studio (NCS, RAL, Jotun, Flügger and Nordsjö) belong to their owners. We show their names and codes only so you can find a color and ask for it at the paint shop.

HueScene is independent and isn’t affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any of them. The colors on screen are our own approximations, not official color data, so check a physical sample before you buy.
